2024 FAYETTEVILLE DELIVERY SERVICE

In the past, our nonprofit partner Seeds that Feed graciously delivered online market orders to Fayetteville addresses. However, their funds for this service have run out. Therefore we added delivery service as an item, to help their volunteers cover the expenses of delivery to Fayetteville addresses.

Delivery will still be FREE for the following Fayetteville customers:
-SNAP customers
-customers 70 or older
-customers who are not able to drive to pickup location on Thursday
—customers who already donate each time they receive a delivery

If you are a customer in any of the above categories, please put “Free Delivery” in the comments as you finish ordering.

NOTE: DELIVERY ORDERS (PAID AND FREE) MUST FORWARD THE ORDER EMAIL TO delivery@seedsfeed.org AFTER YOUR ORDER IS COMPLETE. That insures that you are on the delivery list. Thank you.

If you request delivery and you are not in the above categories, please choose delivery service as one of your items when you order. You can find this item under Delivery and the cost will be no more than $7 for each delivery date. This service will be charged to your order. We make sure that Seeds that Feed receives all of those fees.

INFO YOU ALREADY KNOW IF YOU HAVE ORDERED BEFORE:

DRIVEBY PICKUP TIME AT THE LIBRARY OUTDOOR PARKING LOT is THURSDAY afternoon from 4:30-5:30. Note: if you already know that you cannot make it by 5:30 pm Thursday and you want to order this week, just reply to this email or text 479-935-5111 and we will work with you on a plan.

SEARCHING TIP: On large categories such as baked goods or meats click on the category to get a drop down of specific items in that category.

HOW TO CHECK ITEMS FROM A PARTICULAR SELLER: Scroll down on left side until you see “show specific growers”. If all the boxes are checked, you can click on “reverse all” then click the boxes on or off of those sellers you want to see. Then click “show specific growers” again.

BUYING TIP: If you see items that you want but not much available, order and pay and then log back in and continue shopping. Your orders will be combined and you will only be charged once.

SNAP CUSTOMERS ONLY: you may choose pay at pickup and bring your EBT card on Thursday. We will swipe your card and match up to $100 of your order. NOTE: please do not bring tokens or match cards to pickup at the online market.

1) Sellers sometimes add more products later in the ordering period, so be sure to check back. The product list changes each week, even from the same seller, so it’s worth exploring the categories you are interested in.

2) Multiple orders from you at different times will be automatically combined into one order before pickup and you will only be charged once.

Foothills Market:  The Market is Open!

The vegetable offerings on Foothills Market may seem unusually small this week, but it’s a temporary thing. Jeff from Happy Horseshoe Farm is traveling today and hasn’t had a chance to see how much is available. When he gets home later today, he’ll update the market, so please give us until this evening.

In the meantime, we have a couple of new offerings on the market – garlic scapes and new onions. If you’ve never cooked with garlic scapes, don’t worry – they have the same wonderful aroma and flavor as garlic bulbs and can be used in the same ways in recipes.

The market is open until Wednesday at 5:00 p.m., and we’ll have pickup on Thursday afternoon. Sorry about the inconvenience of having to wait a few more hours for our complete offerings, and thank you for your patience!

Growers News:

Welcome Back…Rainbow Hill Farm. Several live produce plants available and Strawberry Plants, more to come. Excited to be back this season.

Calico Farms: Scones are back & this week we’re offering our lemon blackberry flavor, sold in 3-packs. All organic, dairy-free & delicious! Our scones are our most popular product, hands-down.

New this week is our mild organic salsa – canned in 16 oz jars & perfect for dipping, topping tacos, nachos, eggs, etc. We use fresh tomatoes and there’s no added sugar, just freshness in a jar. Thia has become a customer favorite as well since we added it last year.

If you’re a chocolate milk or ice cream lover, try our organic chocolate syrup. It’s decadently rich, dairy-free with the cleanest ingredients and also makes an incredible cafe mocha. Canned in 8 oz jars.

Finally, grab some of our sinus-relief shower steamers. These have been flying off the shelves the last few weeks thanks to allergy season being in full swing. Ya gotta love it, right?

Safe and Sound Soup Co.: This week I am selling my 1/2 gallon laundry soaps at a discounted price! The discounted scents I have are Orange Bergamot, Lemon Eucalyptus, and Lavender. They are discounted to $12 each. It’s a great opportunity to stock up on your favorite scent, or to try my laundry soap if you’ve been considering it but it’s not in the budget. Here’s some info about it in case you have never seen my laundry soap before. I make it using only 5 ingredients:
Water —just plain H20
Borax —also known as boron. This is a natural mineral found in the earth that is a great natural cleaning agent
Washing Soda—This is simply a more concentrated form of baking soda. It’s great for whitening and deodorizing.
Castile Soap—This is a gentle cleanser made from oils such as coconut and olive oil. It’s a great low suds soap that works well for sensitive skin.
Essential oils— this gives the soap a light scent without using chemical fragrances. I use Therapeutic grade essential oils and they are great cleaning agents. They also give your clothes a clean, light scent that isn’t overpowering. My laundry soap contains zero chemicals, and most detergents use chemicals to bind the molecules of the cleaning agents and fragrances to the molecules in the water. Safe & Sound Soap Co. Laundry Soap does a great job of cleaning your clothes, without the unnecessary chemicals.
I also have Small Batch Bar Soaps, Body Scrubs, and Car Air Fresheners that are all made with safe, clean ingredients.

Tailwynds Farm: We have some new cuts of beef available. We have a Picanha Roast Cut. This cut can be grilled to perfection, has wonderful flavor and a similar texture to a sirloin steak and to top it off try a homemade fresh strawberry pie for dessert. If you have not tried a Tomahawk steak we still have some available. We have had amazing reviews on these cuts with customers saying it was the best and most tender steak they have ever eaten. Fire up those grills and give one a try. We have many crops already growing and plan to have all the farm fresh vegetables available as soon as they start coming in.

Rainbow Hill Farm: Welcome back! We have several live vegetable plants to choose from, more to come.

Emerald Acres: Strawberries, Lettuce Mix, Mixed Lettuce Heads and Spring Mix of Flowers.

Sow’s Ear Piggery: We have re-stocked our “BEST-SELLERS” this week: mild pork breakfast sausage (no MSG) and pork chops! Heritage-breed, pastured pigs on non-GMO/non-soy/non-corn diet. More cuts to be added soon!

We will have some of its customer favorites this week: Scandanavian Buttermilk Sourdough Bread, Artisan Sourdough bread, Roasted Strawberry Jam, and Homemade Peppermint Patties! Our hens have been laying like crazy, so we have fresh eggs, too.
From our garden, we have our Salad Greens Mix, Cabbage, Rainbow Swiss Chard, and Spinach. We don’t use any chemical fertilizers or pesticides on our produce, so you know it’s good for you and the environment.

Quarter Spring Farm: has all the affordable luxury that you need this spring. From our moisturizing soaps to our delicious meats and eggs, we have all the goodies to pamper you. You work hard, so treat yourself to an incredible dining experience with our lamb or chicken. It’s healthier and tastier than conventionally grown meats, and better for the planet, too. Our amazing goat milk soaps and lotions will leave your skin feeling like you just dropped 2 grand at a high end spa. You deserve nice things, so let us provide them to you.

Kumaika Coffee:
If you have not started your morning with our Coffee, you are missing out! We have Dark, Medium and Light Roasted Beans. We are a Certified USDA Organic Product provider. We have a small coffee roaster business. We specialize in roasting and crafting small batches of organic, high altitude single origin and fair trade coffee beans.
